GOD | There is one God who created the heavens and the earth. He chose to reveal Himself to humanity as the Father (Creator), as the Son (Savior), and as the Holy Ghost (indwelling Spirit). Jesus Christ is God displayed in the flesh. He is both God and man. To see Jesus is to see God. THE GOSPEL | The Gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again. We express our belief in the gospel through our obedience to the gospel. We obey the gospel and apply it to our lives by repenting of our sins (death to sin), being baptized in water for the remission of our sins (burial), and receiving the promised gift of the Spirit (resurrection) with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues. This threefold experience is the consistent pattern of initiation into the church and the proof of conversion in the early church. SPIRITUAL GIFTS & THE MIRACULOUS | The Supernatural gifts of the Spirit are at work in and for the church today. These gifts are available to all Spirit-filled believers. Miracles follow those that believe. Healing of the sick is one spiritual gift and is illustrated in the life and ministry of Jesus, and included in the commission of Jesus to His disciples. God's power and love is limitless in our lives. He's a good father who cares about our needs and answers our prayers. CHRISTIAN LIVING | As Christians we are to receive the love of God, respond in love to God and overflow with love for others. We are to worship God joyfully and seek to live a life that is pleasing to him both inwardly and outwardly - in our thoughts, words, and actions. We must commit ourselves to progress not perfection. We are empowered to live a life pleasing to God through the Holy Spirit and covered by the grace and mercy of God when we fall short. THE CHURCH | We believe the church has been called out of the world to be a group of people who follow Jesus Christ fully and love one another sacrificially. We believe the church, through the power of the Holy Spirit, is called to affect genuine spiritual change in the community. We believe the local church is the hope of the world! The church is called to be one group of people made up of many members, all using their talents and abilities for the cause of Christ. PRAY & FASTING | We believe in the power of prayer and fasting. They are vital in our journey with Jesus. (Matthew 17:21, Acts 14:23, Matthew 6:6, James 5:16, 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
